WESTPA is a Non-profit limited liability company and the Intermediate Body of the West Pannon ROP 2007-2013 (ERDF). It is responsible for design and implementation of the support scheme of the "cluster service development". Eight years ago, WESTPA introduced the cluster methodology that resulted in the first cluster initiative in Hungary. It was followed by more than 12 other regional cluster initiatives in different sectors, all in close partnership with WESTPA.
WESTPA is also fully responsible for the regional innovation fund that supports a large number of innovation projects.  In 2005-2008 the Regional Innovation Agency was operating in the frame of WESTPA providing innovation consulting, generating innovation projects.
